Become a Member of the Dallas Housing Coalition

We invite you to become a member of the Dallas Housing Coalition (DHC), if you are not already, and appreciate your sharing our work with others in your network.

We ask prospective members to review the attached membership benefits and responsibilities below and to uphold, actively support, and agree to our adopted mission, vision, public policy priorities, and procedures found under Our Values & Priorities.

We also welcome members contributing voluntary (optional) membership dues between now and the end of the year for 2026.

Membership Benefits

  • Access to policy briefings, housing data, and advocacy opportunities

  • Invitations to public events and member-only meetings

  • Participation in shaping housing policy priorities through member surveys

Membership Responsibilities

  • Uphold, actively support, and agree to DHC’s mission, vision, values, procedures, and priorities

  • Attend at least two (2) DHC events or meetings per calendar year

  • Stay informed through DHC updates and respond to key calls to action

  • Represent DHC values respectfully in community and professional spaces

Membership Process

  • Consider contributing voluntary (optional) membership dues, which are used to support DHC’s advocacy
    efforts and ongoing operations, including communications, community organizing, and
    educational programming. Suggested annual amounts are:

    • $300 For-profit Entities and Philanthropic Organizations

    • $150 Nonprofit Organizations and Government Agencies

    • $50 Individuals and Sole Proprietors

    • $15 Students

  • Members are allowed to have multiple representatives or points of contact

  • If and when formal votes take place to inform DHC operations, issues, and positions, each
    member organization or individual will be counted as one vote

  • DHC leadership, including its Executive Director, Steering Committee, and Board, may either
    offer suggestions for further review by members and working group(s), approve the members’
    recommendations, or disapprove of the recommendations
