YOUTH AMBASSADORS

YOUTH AMBASSADORS

  • The Youth Ambassador (YA) Program is a student-led initiative powered by the Dallas Housing Coalition that brings young voices to the forefront of affordable housing efforts in the Dallas area. Our goal is to empower students to become advocates, leaders, and changemakers in their communities by actively participating in the fight for housing for all.

Youth Ambassadors work alongside DHC members including housing professionals and community leaders to build awareness around housing challenges and solutions. From organizing community events and designing social media campaigns to supporting policy education and outreach, our ambassadors gain hands-on experience while amplifying the importance of safe, affordable housing for everyone.

At its core, this program is about education, action, and impact. We are building the next generation of leaders committed to equity, affordability, and community empowerment. Our long-term goal? A Dallas where every resident has access to safe, stable, and affordable housing and where young people are a driving force in making that vision a reality.
